We’re very excited to be speaking at The Market Research Society’s Automotive Research Conference tomorrow and ahead of the event, we’re profiling some of the great names who will be discussing the future of automotive with us. Andreas Strasser, Head of Research and Automotive Strategy, Volvo

Andreas Strasser Andreas Strasser is Head of Research and Automotive Strategy at Volvo Car Corporation. Before joining Volvo in 2012 he worked as an Economic and Market Researcher for major premium automotive OEMs and think tanks, helping them to leverage new methodologies and technologies to gain fresh insights and distribute them more effectively.

Within the Global Market Intelligence management team Andreas is responsible for Competitive Intelligence and the overall Market Intelligence strategy. He is currently working on preparing Volvo MI for Volvo’s 2020 goals, reshaping the Competitive Intelligence function into a structured, nimble and stakeholder-centric organisation and keeping Volvo Cars and its top management updated on the future of automotive.

Dan Freedman, Director of Motor Development, Direct Line Group

Dan Freedman As Head of Motor Development, Dan leads Direct Line Group’s telematics activities across its Personal Lines brands and on behalf of Direct Line Group’s partners. While Direct Line Group is a relatively new entrant into this field, it has made substantial progress in developing and scaling its telematics operation over the last 18 months.

While telematics takes up the bulk of Dan’s time, he is also responsible for developing Direct Line Group’s new Motor products and services more generally. Dan has over 15 years’ experience in financial services, having worked in retail banking, life insurance and investment research, and throughout his career, he has always looked for opportunities to drive innovation and disruption.
